If a manufacturer has taken the trouble to design a motorcycle glove with safety features it is highly unlikely that a wrist strap is not included. (give it a quick check)
Just make sure that the padding and glove liners don't hinder your feel of the controls.
An important tip is to be happy about the usability. You really have to get used to bigger, fatter fingers on the controls (just make sure they are not too fat).
If your gloves are well waterproofed you don't need rain gloves.
Use a motorcycle glove chart size so you can check which size you need.
Check out how the glove is stitched together. You will get extra cold hands if water can come in through the stitches.
